In the first section below, my legs have been placed in "Stocks". My thought was to be able to provide a visual image to what Paul and Silas might have experienced while in prison in Philippi.
The personal experience was very revealing. By the time I was halfway through the first song, the pain had increased to where it was difficult to remain seated. And as the song neared its end, the pain had gotten to the place where i could not maintain focus on lyrics or chords.
